Here are a few pictures of our living room remodel and a camping trip we took with Nic's brother and sister-in-law. The little boy in the picture with Xena is our sweet nephew.

Wow!! It's been well over a year since I've written on this thing...CRAZY! There's no way to catch you up on an entire year, so I'll hit the highlights. Nic and I celebrated our 5 yr. anniversary with a short trip to Boston. We went on a cruise with some friends from church and had a blast. We went skiing with my mom, dad, sis, and bro-in-law. I had surgery on my right knee and am trying to get myself recovered enough that I can ski again in 2009. We tore up the carpet in the living room and hall and layed lamenant wood flooring down. Nic and I did all the work ourselves. My sister and her husband have moved back up to OKC and are attending church with us so that has been pretty awesome! It has been an eventful year filled with many ups and downs but we are continuely blessed with everything God offers.

I'm going to try something new on this thing. Ever since I started working as a secretary at a real estate office I've had many wonderful opportunites to read several books. I thought I might try to keep up with kind of a "book review" on here so that others can read about the books that I'm reading and see what kind of recommendation I give them.
